Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra update 42.0.A.4.167 released with fixes

Sony is now rolling out a new software update 42.0.A.4.167 for Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones. The update comes with Android January security patch. In addition, Meltdown and Spectre CPU vulnerabilities are now fixed.

The latest Android January security patch brings fixes for Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the open-source Android OS. In addition, the firmware update also includes bug fixes and other improvements. The Android version is still Android 7.0 Nougat.

Make sure you have enough charge on your device at least 60% to 70% before downloading the update.
