Verizon has released a new software update G950USQU1AQG4 for Galaxy S8 and update G955USQU1AQG4 for Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone in the US. The update comes with Google Daydream VR support and other fixes.
The update has added a new send animated GIFs. In addition, the update further increase the screen’s real estate of your Galaxy S8 and S8+. Now you can turn off the navigation bar to maximize your screen view. There’s a small circular toggle on the left side of the navigation bar which can be used as a lock/unlock button.

- You can turn off the navigation bar to maximize your screen view. Toggle the small and round lock/unlock button on the left side of the navigation bar.
- If navigation bar is unlocked, it will hide with a sliding animation. Swipe up to view the navigation bar again.
