Fortnite Update 1.11 adds new Winter Event and more

Fortnite Update 1.11 will soon roll out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The latest v1.11 patch will begin the Season 2 for Fortnite Battle Royale and the new Battle Pass. In addition, the new “The Fortnite Guide to Holiday Survival” Winter Event for Save the World will be available, featuring global inventory, a new questline, holiday heroes, weapons, and an event currency store.

SEASON 2 BATTLE PASS – FORTNITE v1.11 BATTLE ROYALE

Now you can buy the Battle Pass to get cosmetic loot now. Play to level up your Battle Pass, unlocking 65+ rewards by the end of the season. (It typically takes 75 to 150 hours of play to get everything.) Season 2 begins on Dec. 14 and ends on Feb 20.

Windows 10 build 17030 (10.0.17030.1000) info

Windows 10 build 17030 is now going through internal testing. The new Redstone 4 Update build 17030 (10.0.17030.1000 rs_prerelease.171027-1609) was compiled on Oct 27, 2017. Windows 10 Mobile build 15400 was also compiled recently. Windows Insider team might roll out build 17030 this week for insiders. The team is also testing cumulative update build 16299.61 for Fall Creators update users. Redstone 4 update build 17025  is now available for Fast and Skip ahead insider members. The new build comes with new features and other improvements to the OS.
