OxygenOS 5.0 for OnePlus 3 and 3T released with Android 8.0 Oreo

Android 8.0 Oreo is now rolling out for OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones in the form of OxygenOS 5.0. The new OS includes several new features and improvements.

New features like Parallel Apps, Auto-fill, Picture-in-Picture, Smart text selection, new design for Quick Settings, and some other OnePlus features are now available for OnePlus 3 and 3T owners.

In addition, the launcher also gets some including notification dots and a new design for app folders. You can now upload your photos directly to Shot on OnePlus. Also, The update comes with Android September security patch.

OxygenOS 5 update for OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones will roll out over the air. Once there, be sure to connect to a WiFi network before installing the update to avoid extra data charges. Also, make sure that your OnePlus device is at least 50 percent charged.
