ARK update 271 released to fix boss exploits issues – Patch Notes

ARK update 271 is now available for download on PC. The latest ARK 271 patch has fixed some boss exploits issues with the previous updates.

In addition, bRawSockets server option now has correct performance (server stalls eliminated), as good or better than Steam sockets. Check out more details below.

ARK update 271 Patch Notes

  • According to the latest ARK patch notes, Game.ini [ShooterGameMode] bUseTameLimitForStructuresOnly config option, which if true will make Tame Units only be applied and used for Platforms with Structures and Rafts. Defaults false. Tame Units on Non-Legacy Official PvP now have this true (thus in effect disabling Tame Units for Dinos without Platform Structures).
  • bRawSockets server option now has correct performance (server stalls eliminated), as good or better than Steam sockets
  • ARK 271 patch has fixed some boss exploits issues.

Previously, the major ARK update 270 was released on PC which added new Tek Sword, Tek Shield, and Tek Structure to the game. The new Tek Sword is capable of a dash-charge attack and has armor piercing capability, while the Tek Shield can reflect incoming projectiles and bullets, and can completely stop splash damage.
